Our Founder’s Story
Imvomvo Foundation
Imvomvo is the refreshing, sweet fruit of the Aloe Vera plant, a reminder that beauty can grow out of pain.
The Imvomvo Foundation was born from both deep personal loss and a powerful vision for change. Our founder lost her daughter in a tragic road accident, an experience that forever transformed the way she viewed road safety and mobility in South Africa.

The Imvomvo Foundation was created to transform deep personal loss into lasting impact. Our work is guided by the belief that from pain can come purpose, and from tragedy can come change.
Our Focus
We live out our mission through three focus pillars:
- Spreading awareness about road safety. We are a movement for safer roads, fairer opportunities, and brighter futures. Born from loss, driven by purpose — every lesson honours a life and protects another.”
- Empowering Youth Through Skills and Leadership – building Accountability, Resilience, Empowerment, and Dignity for safer roads and brighter futures.
- Guiding Families Through Grief – offering Support and helping them find Courage to heal.
